2. Data We Collect
Email, name, payment data (processed by Stripe), your release metadata, verification documents (KYC), and usage analytics data.
3. How We Use It
To provide the service, process payments and payouts, generate royalty reports, meet tax obligations, send you operational communications, and improve the product.
4. Legal Basis
Contract performance (use of the service), legal compliance (tax, KYC/AML), legitimate interest (security and improvement), and consent (non-essential cookies, optional communications).
5. Data Sharing
We share strictly necessary data with: the DSPs you distribute to, Stripe (payments), collecting societies (publishing), and infrastructure and email providers. We never sell data.
6. International Transfers
Since we operate from the USA and with global DSPs, your data may be transferred outside your country. We apply standard contractual clauses (SCCs) when applicable.
7. Security
Encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Role-based access controls, auditing, and continuous monitoring.
8. Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA)
Access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection, and restriction. Write to us at support@dharell.music to exercise them. You have the right to file a complaint with your data protection authority.
9. Retention
We retain your data while your account is active. After account closure, we keep minimal information for tax and accounting obligations (up to 7 years, depending on jurisdiction).
10. Minors
The service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
